Iran, Holland to Expand Cooperation in Fisheries

TEHRAN The visiting Managing Director of The Netherlands Fisheries, Rol Bol, held talks yesterday with the Head of Iran's Fisheries Organization Jalali to bolster the two countries' cooperation in the area of fisheries. Bol expressed his country's readiness to cooperate with Iran in fisheries activities including manufacturing ships for fishing, setting up cold storage units, exchange of experiences by transfer of know-how in fisheries industries, setting up fishing ports and exchanges of scientific data on fishing research.

Referring to the vast potentials of Iran's marine life resources and vast area for fishing in the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea he called for cooperation in fisheries between the two countries.
